Chiropractic is a manipulative based treatment that aims to optimise how the body functions and moves. Treatment helps to restore natural movement that has been lost through injury, degenerative changes or poor posture.
Chiropractic care is highly regarded as one of the safest non-invasive, drug-free approaches to treating neuromusculoskeletal issues. Many patients experience immediate relief after a session, though some may notice mild soreness, stiffness, or aching—similar to what you might feel after a workout. This should subside within 48 hours post-treatment, but if it persists, please contact us for further advice.
Your chiropractor holds a master’s degree in Chiropractic from AECC University College, the oldest and most prestigious chiropractic college in Europe. Over four years of study, they gained extensive knowledge in areas such as human anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, musculoskeletal medicine, biomechanics, imaging, and clinical neurology. Learning doesn't stop after graduation—Chiropractors are required by the General Chiropractic Council to complete 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) annually, which includes advanced training, research, and other educational activities.
As chiropractors, we are regarded as spine specialists, but our expertise extends to treating pain and injuries affecting other joints, muscles, and nerves throughout the body. Our primary focus is on restoring optimal biomechanics by correcting joint dysfunction, muscle imbalances, and postural issues.
Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Loose-fitting clothing, such as yoga pants, sweatpants, or shorts, is ideal. These allow for easy movement and provide your chiropractor with better access for assessment and treatment, especially if your visit includes a rehabilitation component.
